Matt Bohannon
Pastor Matt has been serving as the pastor of New Hope since 2015. He has his BS in Business Management from Cal Poly Pomona and his Masters of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University. His wife, Manya, is his partner in ministry and in crime. They have two sons (Elijah and Reese) and when Matt isn’t doing ministry he is most likely going on adventures with his family.
Assistant Pastor
Jake Schell
Jake has been serving as the assistant pastor of New Hope since 2017. He has his BS in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Arts in Ministry from Wesley Seminary. His wife, Janet, is his partner and greatest fan for 28 years. Jake likes to spend his free time reading and writing poetry, along with playing around with old tractors and the like.
Worship Director
Manya Bohannon
Manya has served in many capacities over the years, most recently she has taken on the role of Worship Director. She has her masters in Clinical Psychology, loves baking, spending time with her family, and is gifted in hospitality. She is passionate about Mercy and Justice, and is always down for good dance party with her kids.
